| 2) I am selling a 1971 Corvette Stingray. It has a brand new 383 stroker motor installed and has roller cam, rockers, and lifter. Has Edelbrock aluminum heads, new power steering pump, new steering box, new brakes and rotors all the way around. It also has the vintage aftermarket AC/heat system installed. This motor has less than 5 miles on it. It is BRAND NEW. The total cost of the engine was just over $5,000. The bad: battery is dead, it has custom seats ($900) that make it a tight fit for anyone over 5'9 to drive. The seatbelts haven't been reinstalled (are included though). It has one quirk that we were never able to figure out...if you are accelerating really hard then the headlights start to come up. It has to be a check valve somewhere that needs replaced. The new engine has a different compression and vacuum. Not sure how to fix. It is located in my shop near North Bend on the Oregon coast. History: Belonged to my father in law. He had all the work and then passed away unexpectedly. Have clear title in hand and will provide a copy of death certificate along with Bill of Sale. Asking $20,000. Clear title in hand. March 14, 2016. 1) Numbers matching 1971 corvette coupe. I have owned this car for 24 years. Base engine 350/270 h.p. Tremic 5-speed manual trans, with 3.55 rear ratio rearend. The entire suspenion has been rebuit from the front sway bar to the back sway bar. Stainless brakes. Interior has been completely refinished deluxe door panels, plush cut pile carpet, am/fm casette player, all gages work, upper dash, lower dash pads center console e-brake console are in perfect condition. Tilt-telescopic column. The driverside seat back has a crack in it. The seat covers were not repalced but there are no tears in them. The three rear storage doors are in perfect condition. This car has power steering, power brakes, power windows, A.C. I have the A.C.compresor and brackets that will go with the car. Vacuum system on this car is 100 per cent. windshield wiper and water sprayers work perfect, the headlights are fully operational. The electrical system is this car is 100 per cent. Paint and body are better than driver, chrome is better than driver. This is a ZERO rust car. If you are looking for a turn key trouble free 1971 corvette this is it. 78,425 miles.
